Bowling Party

Well Seth got his first Birthday invitation by phone to come to Bianca's(who will be 5) party at the bowling alley. This Sunday at 2pm. It was really cute to hear them talking on the phone. Seth knows what bowling is from coming to watch Mom and cheer her on. So this will be his first time actually bowling........he is so excited!!!! So her chest is about 75% done and is looking really cute. Well Seth is off to school and Landon and I have a B-Day party to go to for one of the ladies here. Hope everyone is having a great week!

Paint, Paint and more Painting!

AHHH, the living room is complete! I have a million and one things on my mind but my first task was to finish the darn living room! The boys took a great nap and Luis was gone at work and I thought now is the time to do it!! I think it turned out great! Add some life to this place.

I did manage to finish Bianca's mirror. I will post some pics after I get her Chest done. I am trying to get all my major projects done before school starts up again! Luis will be gone for a little bit, so that is a perfect opportunity to get some stuff done!

Well it's almost dinner time and I need to go make some tacos....ummmm I am hungry!

Busy, Busy.....

Whew, things have been crazy here the past few days. I have been working on some painting orders, trying to finish painting the living room, add some gardening and two cranky children and I am pooped out!!! Luis is leaving this week for work, so I guess time to get in serious Mom mode and gets some things done. You would think that I would get more done when Dad is home, but it is the opposite. I seem to get more done when he is gone!!! I seriously need to go grocery shopping this morning before church. It's pretty bad when Luis wakes me up to say he is making a McDonlads breakfast run because there is nothing to eat!! ha ha I just had to laugh!!

Seth and I are going to a going away party for his teacher today at 1pm. Its pretty sad considering it is his faavorite teacher!!!! The other teachers have been trying to prepare him over the last few weeks! It should be interesting!!!! Well time to go eat breakfast, more later.

Wooden Painted Letters

Well since I finished "Bianca's" letters I figured now was great time to post some pictures of some of the recent names I have painted. Just to give an idea of what I am talking about. You can order the letters here. My girlfriend put together a website that has some awesome things using your own kids artwork. It worked out for me to have a page off of her website. Thank god because I have no idea how do do the whole website thing.
I still have to finish the wood box and mirror to go along with the design I did for Bianca. I just got 2 more orders yesterday so I better start cracking because I start school again Sept. 4th. Ahh back to the grind of things.

Well we are off to go to Church since it is Sunday here. It stills feels weird when I call family and friends back in the states and they are a day behind us. I guess when I get use to it we will be heading back there ourselves! Ahhh such is life!

We did manage to paint the living room today. I figure what the hell, if we have to live here might as well make it feel a little bit like home. I will post some pics when we are completely done. We got as much as we could done today while the boys napped. I have to say its a lot faster and easier when you have 2 people doing it. I am so use to doing stuff like this when Luis is gone fore work. I'll get bored and want to do a complete change over of something. Luis has come to accept the fact that when he comes home something will be different. So we have one more wall to go!!!!!!

Hawaii Trip

Talked to the ladies today about the Bali trip. They have moved it back but it is too close to our Hawaii trip so it looks like I will go with some other ladies next time. Congrats to Alicia and Terry for buying their tickets to Hawaii!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see everyone. Ok Eren and Sergio you are the last ones to commit!!! You better be looking before the tickets get WAY to pricey!! I can't believe its already been a year since we started planning this trip. Time has flown by for us, that is a good thing considering I don't have a Target to go to!!! Luis just reminds me daily how much money we are saving because I can't go and shop, yeah he is right but I can't even find some of the most basic things here! Thank you gals who go and shop for me and send my personal things! Ha Ha


Well today was a pretty uneventful day. I guess that isn't so bad. I got a ton of things around the house done. Burned some cd's, printed some pics. off for the scrapbooks & baby books. I have 3 boxes that need to go out and of course they have been sitting by the door for...umm 2-3 weeks(sorry Amby I am working on getting to the Post office!). Luis went and picked up Seth from preschool and brought home lunch. That was a nice treat! So it was just Landon and I hanging around the house. I cleaned and he came right behind me and made a mess. AAAHHH what a little bugger! Seth is in his room right now playing with his Thomas trains. God bless the makers of that character series. He will play with those trains aaaaallllllll day, every day! He knows every name, color and number they are. What a memory, but yet I can't get him to remember that poo goes in the potty! AAHH that is a whole other subject.

Landon's Haircut!

AHH..the next milestone for the Nebel household was Landon's haircut, by yours truly. Ok Dad had a hand in it also. He was very jumping and not happy. I knew there was a reason I took Seth to the mall and paid a ridiculous amount of money for his first haircut. I was too afraid I would mess it up--haha. We did good! I could not cut his curls off the back of his head though. They are just too darn cute. Seth insisted that he should help. Yeah, I didn't think that was a great idea either. I can just see it. The first time Seth gets his hands on a pair of scissors he would go and try to cut Landon's hair, not going to happen!

My Trip

Well things for the Bali trip have come to a halt as of right now. The ticket prices ahve jumped up another 300 dollars. I refuse to pay 750 for 3 days. Somehow I can't justify that in my head!Plus with all the things going on with the airports now, we are going to put the trip off until things cool down. I am a little disapointed but I'll go sometime. I tell you what though, nothing is going to put my trip off to China next year, NOTHING! Luis and I are going to try and go when my parents come out for a month. That way Mom and Dad can take a trip without the kiddo's! Should be fun! Well back to finish Bianca's letters. After they are done I am going to post some pics of some of the names I have done.

Beautiful Days Ahead!

Well today was a beautiful day for us to be outside with the boys. Lately it has been ridiculously hot out. We got the grass mowed while the boys were riding their truck around. They had so much fun following Daddy around. Seth actually drove Landon around for like 20 mins. Landon LOVED it! He was so mad when we dragged him out and back inside for a bath. The boys following Daddy. Seth and Landon at a pirate Birthday party this last weekend at the beach. They went on a treasure hunt. Seth had so much fun trying to find everything. 2 crabs, leaves, gold pirate coins, a flower, acorn..Etc. ...you get the idea. I think he will be a Pirate this year for Halloween. I already have all the stuff from the party(thank you Katie!) That will be easy to pack in the suit case bound for Hawaii(2 1/2 mos. till we see our family and friends in Hawaii!) Since we will be there for Halloween I guess I have to figure out something so the boys can go trick or treating! Hmmm now what can I pack for Landon to wear???

Seth found his treasure box!

There was some really neats gifts in his treasure box, gave me some ideas for Seth's Birthday Party for next year. Anyways, we had a good time at the Beach, but it was cut short because we were on Typhoon watch and after this picture was taken the clouds rolled in and it poured. So the calls came in and the emails went out about the storm coming in. Thankfully it just went south of us and we really didn't even get hardly any rain. Well good practice for when the big one comes in.

On Friday there are about 8 of us gals getting together to discuss our trip to Bali. I am so excited. My vote is to stay up in the Mountains. I have heard about the Monkey jungles, the river rafting and of course the main reason I am going is the SHOPPING! Don't worry, I will pick up some really nice things for everyone and of course take lots and lots of pictures. Luis will be home alone with the boys for 4 days. This will be the first time Mom has EVER left the kids overnight--oh wait auntie Amby took Seth for a week when we were visiting in Michigan. Well I guess other than that I have never been away from both at the same time. Time for Mom to get-away for a bit. Anyways, Luis is really excited about me going and traveling to another country without him. He told me I had no excuse not to go and he is right! He can have some quality time with the boys and Mom gets a break! I think we are talking about leaving in Sept. Sometime. I just registered for another class at the University today so I start that up soon...ahh back to the grind of things.

Well time to get the boys to bed, I think Mom and Dad will crack open a bottle of wine and eat a pizza--wow doesn't that sound healthy!

Friendship Week

Well, last night was the boys first sign language class. They loved it! I can't believe how fast they are both picking up on the signs. I just have to remember to be consistent and they will completely get it. Luis was able to make it, so atleast we each could work with them one on one. Next class I will have to get some pics of all the kids doing the songs. Very entertaining to watch!

Seth's 2nd week of preschool is all about friendships. So considering all of our friends and his are back in the states I had to explain why they couldn't just come over. Wow how do you explain that to a 3-yr old? It's hard for me some days, but don't they say kids are so flexible about this kind of thing. Well I guess if we were going to move all the way to Guam, now was the time to do it. That way when the boys start school we will be back in the states...somewhere in the states. Hopefully back to the Beach!!!!
I told Luis that I want to get a huge world map and hang it in his room and put pins in it to show him where everyone lives, maybe put pics with it so he won't forget anyone--one day I will do that...one day.

Landon is down for a nap and Seth is sitting behind me watching Thomas the train--oh how he loves his Thomas. Hopefully he will fall asleep and I can work on my letters I am painting for my girlfriends daughter.
I guess that is why I named my Blog Little Frog Creations. That is what I call my little business, if you can call it that. This is a great site to post my pictures of the stuff that I have done and for family and friends to see.

I love the idea of having a online journal. I hope I stick with it! Then when my boys are older I can have something active to physically show them. I am all about saving everything, making memories of every milestone and then of course making some up myself. Speaking of that the next major thing is Landon's haircut. Luis and I are going to cut it ourselves. Just a littlle trim here and there, especially in the front. I'll have to take before and after pics so I can stick it into Landon's scrapbook and his baby book.

Well off to paint some letters for the name Bianca. Can't wait to finish them, they are going to be so darn cute. Along with that I am painting a round wood mirror and a wooden chest--should be fun! OHHHH how I long to have a girl to even out the testosterone that will fill this house up! ha
Bowling tonight--can't get ahold of my babysitters yet, so it looks like they will be coming to cheer mommy on!!
